Kelly Dillon

Kelly is a 2000 graduate from Lakeland High School. She was able to letter in track & field all four years and three years in basketball while at Lakeland. She currently holds records in the 200 meter dash, and 400 meter dash sprint events. Her 200 meter dash record time is 25.26 and her 400 meter dash record time is 56.36. During her time with Lakeland, she was able to earn NECC All-Conference honors 4 years in a row for track & field, and 2 years within basketball.
In basketball, Dillon was a part of the 1998 NECC Tournament Championship Team, and the 1999 Goshen Holiday Tournament Championship Team.
Within track & field, Kelly had tremendous success within the IHSAA Tournament Series! She was a 2 time sectional champion in the 400 meter dash (1998 & 1999), a sectional champion in the 100 meter dash (1999), a sectional champion in the 200 meter dash (1999), and a sectional champion in the long jump event (1999). In 1997 she finished 9th overall at the IHSAA State Track and Field Meet in the 400 meter dash. Following that season, in 1998 she finished 7th overall in the 200 meter dash. In 1999, Kelly bettered her state finishes and earned a runner-up finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.26, while also being crowned a state champion in the 400 meter dash with a time of 56.36!
After her incredible track & field career with Lakeland, Kelly earned a track & field scholarship to Indiana University!
