- Collected a total of eight Varsity Letters during his time at Lakeland—three in football, three in baseball and two in basketball.
- As a baseball standout, collected 40 hits, 7 home runs, and 10 doubles while batting .476 during his senior year.
- Still ranks second in Lakeland history in career hits, with 100, and career runs, with 70.
- Ranks third in career doubles with 25, and third in career average.
- Led the Lakers to the 1987 baseball sectional championship.
- Selected as a North All-Star for the Indiana North/South All-Star Game in 1987.
- Over 30 years after graduating, still ranks in the top 10 in 12 statistical categories for Lakeland baseball.
- Also earned All-Conference honors on the football field as a wide receiver his senior year.
- Valedictorian of the Class of 1987.
- Currently lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Melody, and is employed as a Controls and Performance Engineer for Cummins.
- Father of three children, Anna, Noah, and Louisa.
- Coaches a girls’ homeschool basketball team, the Indianapolis Wildcats, and in 2019, led that team to the 2019 Homeschool National Championship.
