Graduated in 2003 after piling up 12 varsity letters across four sports.
Led the Lakeland girls’ soccer program during its inaugural three seasons, earning two team MVP awards and one Offensive Player of the Year award.
On the track, won the 2001 Conference Championship in 100 Meter Hurdles, the 2002 Conference Championship in High Jump, and the 2002 Sectional Championship in 100 Meter Hurdles.
Qualified for Regionals three times in both 100 Meter Hurdles and High Jump.
Holds the Lakeland 100 Meter record for 33 inch hurdles at 15.7 seconds.
As a basketball standout, was a three-time All-Conference Selection and earned a spot on the 2003 Indiana All-Star Team for the Indiana Border Wars.
Ranks in the top 6 in four different categories in the Lakeland Girls Basketball Record Book, including: 1st in Career Blocks with 125, 3rd in Career Rebounds with 572, 5th in Career Assists with 240, and 6th in Career Points with 948.
Says former Lakeland Girls Basketball coach, Sherry Severson, “Crystal is one of the most versatile female athletes to ever play at Lakeland.”
Earned a basketball scholarship to Hillsdale College where she played for four years.
Employed at AlphaVet Animal Clinic and lives in LaGrange with her husband, Michael Dunlap, and their four children Adalyn, Rhett, Gray, and Josie.
