Graduated from Lakeland in 1995 as a two-sport standout in football and track.
His football accomplishments include being selected twice to the NECC All-Conference team, and earning a rare All-State Selection his Senior year.
Member of the 1995 Indiana North All-Star Team.

As a discus thrower on the track team, was a three-time Conference Champion, two-time Sectional Champion, one-time Regional Champion, and a two-time State Qualifier.
Is one of only 4 Laker athletes to win a Regional Championship in Boys’ Track.
Also won the Conference Championship and Sectional Championship in Shot Put during his senior year.
Continued his athletic career at Tri-State University where he played on their inaugural football team and won a Conference Championship in the Shot Put.
