Graduated in 1998 with four varsity letters in basketball and two in softball.
Former Lakeland girls’ basketball coach Sherry Severson describes Brooke as “One of the most individually dominant players that I ever coached on the basketball court.”
In the girls’ basketball record book, ranks in the top 5 all-time in 13 different categories.
For a single-season, ranks 1st in Blocks (57) and 3-Pointers Made (62), and 2nd in Points (455), Assists (117) and 3-Point % (49.1)
For a career, holds marks of 3rd in Blocks (100), 4th in 3-Pointers Made (111), and 5th in Points (1044) and Rebounds (531).
Was a 2-time All-Conference selection, a 2-time All-Area selection, and an Honorable Mention All-State selection her senior year.
In addition to her individual success, Brooke’s teams won 3 Regular Season Conference Titles, 3 Conference Tournament Championships, the 1996 Sectional Championship, and set the record for most wins in one season with 21 victories in 1998.
Earned a basketball scholarship to New Mexico State, becoming the first Lakeland female athlete to be offered a Division I level scholarship.
Played basketball for two seasons at New Mexico State and two seasons at University of West Florida where she set numerous records.
Holds a Teaching Certificate from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Certificate in Early Childhood Administration from College of DuPage.
Currently employed as the Senior Child Care Director at the Galowich Family YMCA in Joliet, Illinois operating over 15 before and after school youth programs.
Married to Warren B. Hall, and they have 2 sons, Donte (16) and Donovan (9).
